SUBSTANCE: method of purifying oil, involving the following steps: mixing oil with an adsorbent or absorbent (AA), and circulating the oil with the AA through a pipe to a membrane, having pore size from 0.10 to 0.50 microns at temperature from 20 to 50°C, where the purified oil permeate is separated from the retentate and the retentate is recycled.
EFFECT: invention reduces the content of persistent bioaccumulated toxins, reduces content of high-melting, aromatic and coloured compounds and reduces loss of oil.
