FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for production of plugs for solid-propellant rocket engine nozzles. Proposed method comprises cutting out circular workpiece of impregnated with binding agent, blanks are composed of multilayer package on the corresponding configuration plug matrix and hot pressing. In-out workpieces is marked on the position of the direction of the base of the glass fabric, passing through the centre of the workpiece, and in application of pieces of glass fabric substrate is combined with the specified first blank on the matrix direction of laying the first layer of multi-layer packet. Substrate of glass fabric second blank is placed perpendicular to direction of the base of the glass fabric first laid billet, and direction of the base of the glass fabric third and fourth pieces are arranged in mirror symmetry between the directions of glass fabric base first and second blanks. Then put the rest of the workpiece, aligning the substrate of glass fabric fifth, ninth and so on workpieces with the direction of the base of the glass fabric first blank.

EFFECT: higher quality of production of glass fabric spherical plug due to elimination of distortion of its surface.
