FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: method employs a central system fitted with radio communication apparatus, telecommunication apparatus and a computer; a model digital map is formed and sent to computers of leading vehicles of convoys, fitted with radio communication and navigation apparatus. Based on the obtained data on characteristics, location and the required destination, the computer of the central station generates recommended routes and sends them to the leading vehicles of the corresponding convoys. Forced control of movement of other vehicles moving outside the convoys is further performed. The first version of the method enables successive generation of recommended routes for vehicles in the convoys, which enables passage of the convoys without mutual interference and taking into consideration both the rank of their priority and their set speed. The second version enables generation of recommended routes while adhering to the required time of arrival at the destination of each convoy.
EFFECT: control of routes of both vehicles and convoys, based on the rank of their priority and set speed.
