SUBSTANCE: coding (S1) is done for safety-relevant real-time data (D) of a message (N), including an identifier of a transmitter (3) inside a closed circuit, by means of a secret key (K_privA) of the transmitter (3) to generate a coded message (N'); transfer (S2) of the coded message (N') is carried out together with an non-coded identifier of the transmitter from the transmitter (3) along the bus (2) of a transport device to a receiver (4) inside the closed circuit, and the coded message (N') is decoded by the receiver (4) with the help of the open key (K_publicA) of the transmitter (3), indicated by means of the received non-coded identifier of the transmitter, to restore the non-coded message (N). The received identifier of the transmitter is compared to the identifier of the transmitter contained in the restored message (N) in order to establish whether the transfer of the message was proper.
