SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular to obstetrics. In order to diagnose arterial hypertension and transient heart failure in embryo at 11-14 week term of gestation by ultrasonic examination thickness of nuchal translucency (NT), isovolumic relaxation time (IRT) of left ventricle is measured and presence of reverse blood flow in venous duct is detected. In case of increased NT, presence of reverse blood blow in venous duct and IRT higher than 34 ms, conclusion about presence of hypertension and transient heart failure in embryo is made.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to diagnose arterial hypertension and transient heart failure in embryo at 11-14 week term of gestation.
