FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely obstetrics and fetal surgery, and can be used to diagnose changes in central hemodynamics during the development of feto-fetal transfusion (SFFT). The time of isovolumic relaxation (TIR) of the left ventricle of the fetal heart is measured. Then, the difference in isovolumic relaxation times (ΔTIR) is calculated as the difference between the TIR of the recipient fetus and the TIR of the donor fetus. The values of ΔTIR > 9 ms are determined as a marker of SFFT at terms from 16 to 26 weeks of pregnancy. A decrease in ΔTIR after LCPA is a marker of relief of fetal-fetal transfusion syndrome.
EFFECT: method allows for early diagnosis of the development and relief of SFFT by assessing the value of the marker ΔTIR.
