FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgery and can be applied for sewing liver wounds. First deep U-shaped sutures are applied at distance 1-1.5 cm from each other with 1-1.5 indent from lower wound edge, with one end of thread being passed under wound bottom with puncture-out on opposite side at distance 1-1.5 cm from upper wound edge, the other end of thread being passed in analogous manner. After that, superficial U-shaped sutures are applied in opposite direction through middles of distances between puncture-outs of deep U-shaped sutures on 1/3 of wound depth from the surface, with 0.5-0.8 cm indent from upper wound edge, passing one end of thread on 1/3 of wound depth from the surface with puncture-out on opposite side at distance 1-1.5 cm from lower wound edge under loops of deep U-shaped sutures, the other end of thread is passed in analogous manner. After application of all sutures, simultaneously tied to each other are on one side all ends of threads of deep U-shaped sutures, on the other side - all ends of threads of superficial U-shaped sutures.
EFFECT: method reduces risk of suture cutting, improve healing processes.
