FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: power control method of internal combustion engine consists in the fact that the quantity of air supplied to combustion chambers is not restricted, and power is controlled by interrupting the fuel supply. Time interval during which the engine shaft rotates to the angle equal to radians is measured, where N- number of cycles in working engine cycle, K - number of combustion chambers in the engine. Measurement result of electronic device is compared to the specified value, and when the measured interval exceeds the specified value, fuel is supplied. When the measured time interval is reduced below the specified value, fuel feed is stopped, and power control is performed by changing the specified value of the above time interval.

EFFECT: improving control accuracy and performing cycle-by-cycle control of fuel feed.
