SUBSTANCE: radar level gauge has a level sensor 1 with a microstrip antenna 2, an interface converter 3, a control device 4 and a power supply 5. On top of the radiating surface of the microstrip antenna 2, there is a dielectric plate which covers the radiating surface of the microstrip antenna 2. Additional items of the claim indicate specific implementation and arrangement of parts of the level gauge.
EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring level of liquids and granular substances in reservoirs.
