SUBSTANCE: invention refers to oral care composition containing a liquid phase containing water 30% to 90% of the liquid phase; dissolved tin; fluoride ions 200 to 2000 portions per million of the oral care composition, and alcohol sugar C_(3-5) 5 to 60 wt % of the oral care composition; differing by the fact that the content of dissolved tin [Sn] in the liquid phase makes at least 750 portions per million of the composition wherein 60 mole % or more of the content of dissolved tin [Sn] has formal oxidation number +11, and that the composition contains an organic acid specified in glycolic, lactic and gluconic acid and ammomium cations of formula (I): R-NH⁺R_a-[(CH₂)_u-NH⁺R_b]_v-R_c (I), wherein R represents a saturated or unsaturated linear hydrocarbon residue of 10-20 carbon atoms, v represents an integer 0 to 1, and represents an integer 2 to 3, a R_a, R_b and R_c are independently specified in hydrogen and -CH₂CH₂OH. The composition preferentially represents a mouth rinse.
