An oil-in-water emulsion and a method for preparing it for ophthalmic application is characterised by at least one prostaglandin as an active agent, and a surface-active ingredient containing a combination of at least two non-ionic surfactants.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides treating glaucoma and is characterised by high chemical stability of the prostaglandin active agent that enables long-term storage of the emulsion at room temperature.
