FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, namely pharmacology, and is intended for the preparation of ophthalmic emulsion compositions. The pharmaceutical composition contains (a) a lipid phase containing an oil component, one or more surfactants and one or more accompanying surfactants, and (b) an aqueous phase containing one or more surfactants and one or more accompanying surfactants. Also, this composition contains an ophthalmic agent. In this case, the mass/volume ratio between the amount of surfactant (substances) and the accompanying surfactant (substances) in the lipid phase and the amount of surfactant (substances) and the accompanying surfactant (substances) in the aqueous phase is from 2 to 10; and the mass/volume ratio between the amount of the oil component in the lipid phase and the amount of surfactant (substances) and associated surfactant (substances) in the aqueous phase ranges from 0.2 to 1.0. The resulting composition is an oil-in-water microemulsion. In the resulting oil-in-water microemulsion, the average particle size is less than 30 nm. In addition, a method for obtaining the specified composition is presented.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions provides a thermodynamically stable, biologically safe composition with favorable bioavailability profiles.
