FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detonation, particularly, to detonation thrower used for making wear proof coatings for space engineering and ship building. Thrower rotary drum is made up of two end and one central sections tightly jointed together by through channels and coupled with gas distributor, water feed and discharge devices and powder dispensers. Gas distributor and cooling water feed and discharge device are arranged on the side of drum closed end. Powder dispensers are arranged above drum central section. Two floating slide valve are arranged inside gas distributor to allow independent and consecutive detonation throwing stages in drum every channel: Filling throwing channels with detonating gas via first slide valve, exploding them by second slide valve and their blowing by inert gas via third slide valve. Invention differs from known designs in that several powders are thrown at a time.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and safety, reduced costs.
