SUBSTANCE: method involves a step for bringing a starting composition, containing a recombinant vitamin K-dependent protein which is produced in cell culturing conditions, into contact with a solid-phase substance which is capable of binding that vitamin K-dependent protein, and collecting the obtained secondary composition containing that vitamin K-dependent protein. Further, the secondary composition obtained at the previous step is brought into contact with a solid-phase substance bearing affine ligands, which is capable of binding protein S, while the recombinant vitamin K-dependent protein is not bound with said solid phase and skips the chromatographic column; and collecting the obtained composition containing the recombinant vitamin K-dependent protein.
EFFECT: invention enables to reduce the level of protein S at least twofold.
