SUBSTANCE: when realising the method, first, the swivelling device is turned by an electric drive mounted coaxially with the axis of the swivelling device, with a predetermined minimum speed in forward and reverse directions in normal conditions and the resultant torque of the swivelling device in the forward and reverse directions is measured by a sensor. Further, the swivelling device is turned by the electric drive with the same speed in the forward direction at extreme temperature and the sensor measures the resultant torque of the swivelling device in the forward direction at extreme temperature, after which the resistive torque of the swivelling device at extreme temperature is determined using a formula.
EFFECT: possibility of determining resistive torque of a test swivelling device at extreme temperatures.
