FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to knives with reciprocating movement for cutting the stem agricultural crop. Double blade of the cutting device unit with reciprocating motion used in the agricultural machine has two cutting parts, going forward, which is perpendicular to the direction of reciprocating motion, and two bases. Each of the cutting parts has two side surfaces with jagged cutting edges. Peaks and troughs of one of the cutting part are shifted in the forward direction from the peaks and troughs of the other cutting part.
EFFECT: as a result depletion of cutting device finger is reduced.
