FIELD: water and air purification technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of purifying domestic and industrial wastewater. Method for purifying waste water from contaminants involves reagent treatment of the water to be purified and the subsequent separation of contaminants present therein to produce purified water. Reagent treatment of water is carried out using sodium chloride. Original wastewater is mixed with sodium chloride, taken in an amount that provides its concentration in the resulting mixture of not less than 5 g/l and to the limit of solubility of sodium chloride in water. Then the liquid phase is separated from the solid phase. Liquid phase is passed through a plant providing separation from the liquid phase of sodium chloride and contaminated in the liquid phase with the production of purified water.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the method of wastewater treatment.
