SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics. Rod is introduced into neck and head of hip. At the level of wing and in the area of distal part of hip distractor from two arches, which are connected by means of telescopic rods, is mounted on pins. Introduced into neck and head of hip rod is hingedly fixed to distal support of distractor with possibility of its movement in distal direction on hip axis. After that extremity is given position of adduction in hip joint. Intertrochanteric osteotomy is performed. Stretching stress is created in distractor. Central fragment of hip is brought out from varus position. Fragment is fixed with intramedullary hip rod, which is introduced through the tip of greater trochanter. Distractor is dismounted. Rod, introduced into neck and head of hip, is removed.

EFFECT: method ensures simultaneous recovery of shape of proximal part of hip and reduction of trauma.
