FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat-and-mass exchange processes, particularly, to evaporation of solutions, emulsions and suspensions in boiling conditions. Proposed method comprises wetting heated solid surface by liquid, adjusting the volume of liquid fed to evaporator and distributing liquid uniformly at evaporator input. It differs from known procedures in that liquid if fed onto heated surface as drops. Note here that fed liquid is adjusted so that drop feed cycle exceeds drop evaporation time. Note also that uniform distribution of liquid us governed by criterion l=(2.5÷5)dd, where l is distance between fed drops, dd is drop diameter. Note that heated surface temperature t=(1.2÷2.3)tboil, where t is heated surface temperature, tboil - is boiling temperature at working pressure.

EFFECT: decreased evaporation time, heating surface area, and metal input.
