FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: method for increasing the heat exchange rate in an evaporator consisting in wetting a heated solid surface with the liquid evenly distributed at the inlet of the evaporator which is supplied in the form of drops so that the drops supplying period is longer than the evaporation period and the even distribution of the liquid is determined with the formula l=(2.5÷5)dto, where l is the distance between the drops supplied drops, mm, dto - diameter of the drop, mm. The temperature of the heated surface t=(1.1÷2)tBale, where t is the temperature of the heated surface, °C, tBale - the boiling point of the liquid at operating pressure, °C. Immediately before wetting the heated solid surface, snow and/or ice crumb are introduced into the liquid in an amount of at least 0.3 volume fractions of the total volume of the liquid.
EFFECT: increased productivity of the evaporation process.
