FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalytic production of nanofibrous carbon materials and hydrogen and may be used in nanotechnologies, chemical industry, and hydrogen power engineering. Proposed method is implemented in horizontal reactor with moving fluidised bed. Said bed includes transition metals of iron subgroup. Said method comprises continuous feed of catalyst and initial hydrocarbon and continuous discharge of nanofibrous carbon material formed on catalyst and gaseous reaction products.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
