SUBSTANCE: lighting system has a main unit with at least two parallel electrodes and at least one lighting unit connected to the electrodes. The control unit comprises a controller configured to control at least one parameter of at least one lighting unit, a fastening element configured to fasten the control unit with possibility of detachment in connection with electrodes of the lighting system. The invention also relates to a lighting system and a lighting unit for such a lighting system.
