FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing plastic wastes poor in metal content and rich in plastic materials in disposal of old cars. Proposed method of wastes (KA) poor in metal content and rich in plastics content comprises separating one light fractions (LF) and one heavy fraction (SF) in sequential stages. The latter include separating ferromagnetic components (FE) from wastes rich in plastic content, separating first sand fraction (SF1) from wastes rich in plastics content with decrease content of metals by screening, screening said fraction rich in plastics remained after separation of said SF1, separating second sand fraction (SF2) after said mincing, separating residual fraction rich in plastic into light fraction (LF) and heavy fraction (SF). Said method is implemented at the unit comprises appropriate means arranged sequentially to perform said stages.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
