SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for processing light fraction produced in treatment of wastes, rich in plastics and metal depleted. Proposed method comprises the following stages: percussion-reflection effects on light fraction, sorting light fraction into, at least, two classes of light fraction, dividing one class of light fraction into, at least, one fraction of dust and, at least, one other fraction. Dust separation occurs in mainly, controlled time of light fraction stay in, at least, one separator. Proposed method is implemented at the plant comprising, at least, the following means: At least, one device for separation of metal, means for bringing percussion-reflection effects on light fraction, screen to divide light fractions into two classes of light fraction, air classifier to divide, at least, one class of light fraction into one class of light fraction and, at least, one other fraction. Note here that dust separation occurs in, mainly controlled time of light fraction class stay in, at least, one air classifier. The latter comprises, at least, one concentration table to divided residual fraction resulted from aforesaid division into light material fraction and heavy material fraction, device for surface cleaning of, at least, one fraction, composed of centrifuge whereto agglomeration plant if connected to operated in intermittent conditions, drying and cooling devices being connected to said plant.
