FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing olefin oxides, according to which epoxidation of olefins with organic hydroperoxides is carried out at temperature 90-120 in the presence of a molybdenum-containing catalyst, obtained by heating aqueous solutions of ammonium molybdate and hydrazine sulphate.
EFFECT: improved method of producing olefin oxides by conducting an epoxidation process in the presence of an active catalyst at low hydroperoxide to alcohol ratio and improved technological parameters of the epoxidation process.
