FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: plant comprises a galvanising tank containing a liquid mixture of metals designed for application onto a strip and put into permanent circulation between the galvanising tank and a preparation device, which comprises the first and second zones connected by means of a liquid mixture displacement device. The flow of the liquid mixture in the plan passes serially, starting from the galvanising tank, via the first zone, providing for ingot melting and decantation of drosses, via a facility of displacement, and to the second zone, where a liquid mixture cleaned from drosses arrives, which is again put in circulation in the galvanising tank along the reverse flow of the cleaned liquid mixture. The plant also comprises facilities of thermal correction distributed along the liquid mixture flow, providing for a closed thermal cycle between flow outlet from the second zone and reverse flow inlet into the galvanising tank. The first zone of the preparation device comprises a local facility to control and reduce temperature, which, when required, may assist in required reduction of liquid mixture temperature, which is preferably carried out by means of selective submersion or extraction of at least one ingot in the first zone.

EFFECT: possibility to control temperature without necessity to use additional coolers and make it possible to develop an optimised contour of liquid metal mixture circulation for galvanisation by steel strip submersion.
