FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device consists in exposure of ice inside a water drain to microwave radiation. Ice removal from a water drain is carried out with the help of a mobile plant, where a microwave generator is installed, as well as a power plant and a tank for water collection. The microwave generator is supplied from a power unit or directly from the external grid. Using quick-detachable fixtures a flexible wave guide, with a radiator and a water-discharge sleeve with a protective net are connected to the lower end of the water drain and to the microwave plant.
EFFECT: elimination of a risk of water drain damage in winter period of time.
