SUBSTANCE: method for liquefaction of at least two hydrocarbon flows, such as natural gas, including at least the following stages: a) supply of at least first and second hydrocarbon flows (20, 20a); (b) sending the first hydrocarbon flow (20) via one or more first heat exchangers (12, 14) to form the first cooled hydrocarbon flow (30); and (c) sending the second hydrocarbon flow (20a) via one or more second heat exchangers (12a, 14a) to form the second cooled hydrocarbon flow (30a); where the coolant flow (100) provides for cooling of the first heat exchanger (heat exchangers) (12, 14) and the second heat exchanger (heat exchangers) (12a, 14a).
EFFECT: using the invention will make it possible to increase plant efficiency and to reduce power consumption.
