FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: ELISA technique is used for the purpose of the pre-determination of a level of protection against diphtheria and an avidity index. It is followed by making an avidity (%) - time (month) chart based on the dependence: IND_AVID-(14.5108)*T*exp(-(0.094)*(T+1)^(0.934)) wherein IND_AVID is the avidity index, and T is time in months. The chart is used to determine the date when the avidity index decreased to a deadline (10%). The difference of the date in this point and the date of previous vaccination is used to determine a period over which the next vaccination is expected.
EFFECT: use of the method implies an individual approach to the examined persons and higher attention to representatives of a risk group.
