METHOD FOR PREVENTION OF REDUCED POSTVACCINAL HUMORAL IMMUNITY TO DIPHTHERIA AND PERTUSSIS IN SCHOOLCHILDREN OF 7-12 YEARS OLD, ASSOCIATED WITH UNFAVOURABLE ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61K31/01 A61P37/02 A61P25/00 A61P1/00

Abstract RU 2826768 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, paediatrics and concerns a method for prevention of postvaccinal humoral immunity reduction in schoolchildren associated with unfavourable chemical factors of anthropogenic origin, manganese and nickel. In the territory characterized by the simultaneous presence of manganese and nickel in the air above the reference concentration, schoolchildren are selected, having full and timely vaccination and revaccination against diphtheria and pertussis and having no indications of transferred pertussis or diphtheria in anamnesis, and in whom the presence in blood of: manganese equal to 0.013–0.019 mcg/cm3; nickel equal to 0.0040–0.0062 mcg/cm3, has been established. Drug therapy is carried out by the internal administration of the following medicinal preparations in children: Glycine from 1 to 14 days 1 tablet 2 times a day sublingually; drug Filtrum-STI from 1 to 10 days at age of 7–12 years, 1 tablet 3 times a day and Polyoxidonium from 5 to 14 days at age of 7–10 years, 1/2 tablet once day and 1 tablet older than 10 years sublingually 20–30 minutes before meals. Drug-free effect is performed by optimizing the school diet, correcting the drinking regimen, increasing motor activity and providing psychological relief for schoolchildren.

EFFECT: invention provides an integrated method of drug-induced and non-drug exposure on schoolchildren, providing prevention of reduced effectiveness of vaccination against diphtheria and pertussis, while reducing content of toxicants in biological media of children and providing positive dynamics of laboratory values.
