FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: icicle breaker for breaking icicles includes a movable working element placed under a building cornice and arranged in the form of a П-shaped bracket fixed on a building wall under the cornice and capable of making elastic return-torsion oscillations relative to the latter and a drive mechanism arranged in the form of two rope sections arranged in parallel to the cornice along the axis and twisted to opposite sides, where the bracket is suspended. At the same time the external end of one rope section is rigidly fixed on the building wall, and the end of the other section is connected with a rope, which is thrown over the block and lowered along the wall down to earth, besides, at the end near earth it is equipped with a handle.

EFFECT: increased operational reliability of a roof.
