FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: icicle breaker comprises working element and mechanism of its drive. Working element is arranged in the form of rectangular frame with extended sides aligned along roof cornice. One of extended sides is fixed hingedly on building wall below cornice. Thick-walled fluoroplastic tubes are tightly placed onto short sides of frame. Drive mechanism is arranged in the form of rope. With one end the rope is fixed to centre of extended frame side, which is distanced from wall. Other end of rope is pulled through wall-attached horizontal ring as top-down and through closed circuit of frame. Other end of rope is attached to rails of one of balconies with the possibility to hang down to earth as this end of rope is released.
EFFECT: simplified device and process of its operation, improved efficiency, safety of works and expansion of functional possibilities.
