SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a flow metre (20), having one or more flow tubes (103) and a drive (104A, 104B) which is configured to generate vibrations in the one or more flow tubes (103) at the frequency of the driver. The flow metre (20) has one or more joint plates (260). One of the joint plates (260) is joined to one flow tube (103) from the one or more flow tubes (103) along its length, such that the frequency interval between the frequency of the drive and at least a second vibrational frequency, the joint plate (260).
EFFECT: design of a flow metre capable of separating at least two vibrational modes without need for many components.
