FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. What is described is a method for bio-wire coating for osteosynthesis involving the ion surface preparation of a sterile rod in the argon medium, applying an intermediate layer of a group V metal of the periodic system by electric-arc deposition with the use of electrodes made of a proper metal to be coated with applying a protective layer by metal plasma source operation in the nitrogen medium with the ion preparation conducted by low-temperature argon plasma at current intensity 30-35 A for 60-65 min, while electric-arc deposition of the intermediate layer is ensured by ten-fold cyclic ion bombardment with a proper metal; a negative potential on a work table is maintained to be equal to 1000-1100 V, metal cathode current - equal to 60-65 A for 10-12 sec; then cathode current is disabled, and a pause of 20-25 sec. is taken.
EFFECT: method for bio-wire coating for osteosynthesis provides positive medical-biological and toxicological effects.
