FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protective compositions for wood having compound action and can be used to protect wood structures from biocorrosion and fire. The fire- and bioprotective composition contains boric acid, water and diethanolamine, with the following ratio of components in wt %: boric acid - 5-25, diethanolamine - 5-25, water - the balance.
EFFECT: invention increases adhesion of wood surface to paint materials, reduces water absorption and tone wood surface.
