SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions refers to method of contactless temperature measurement of plasticised plastic material at extrusion device outlet. The effect is achieved by using the method for temperature measurement of plasticised plastic material at extrusion device outlet. Sound velocity versus temperature function is checked, and the above function is stored at least for one plasticised plastic material. Besides, sound velocity is measured during extrusion of plastic material, and the corresponding temperature is determined based on measured values of velocity and the above function. In addition to the above sound velocity versus temperature function, sound velocity versus pressure function is checked and stored at least for one plasticised plastic material. At that, pressure is measured during extrusion of plastic material in addition to measurement of sound velocity, and temperature measurements are corrected as per pressure based on measured pressure values.
EFFECT: simpler and more accurate contactless temperature measurement of liquid melt.
