FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: feed method of piston internal combustion engine (ICE) consists in feed of hydrocarbon fuel to fuel-air mixture inlet channel to engine cylinder through inlet pipeline (9) and additional feed of supplementary portion of hydrocarbon fuel with air through fuel pipe (12) to a slot between outlet valve (8) and its seat (16). Supplementary portion of hydrocarbon fuel with air is supplied during simultaneous opening of inlet (6) and outlet (8) valves. Supplementary fuel portion can be supplied through fuel pipe (12) by means of electromagnetic valve (13) controlled with electronic unit (14) as per signals of sensors of phases of opening of inlet and outlet valves (6, 8), position of throttle valve (10) in inlet pipeline, rotation frequency of engine shaft, and temperature of exhaust gases in outlet channel. At exhaust gas temperature decrease to the value insufficient for thermochemical conversion of hydrocarbon fuel, supply of by-product fuel is stopped. The above invention also refers to ICE feed system for implementation of the above method.

EFFECT: providing more rational internal recirculation of exhaust gases and improving thermochemical fuel conversion for intensification of burning process.
