FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: operating method of electric drive with planetary reduction gear consists in transfer of torque moment from inlet shaft (4) to outlet shaft (20) by means of in-series installed high-speed (6), medium-speed (7) and low-speed (8) planetary rows with toothed gearings. Rotation of medium-speed carrier (16) is performed so that it can be self-adjusted by means of flexible elastic axis (24) with an insert in the form of at least one bellows (28), one end of which is rigidly attached to the above carrier (16), and the other one is installed on the support in body of low-speed carrier (17). Bending of the bellows is performed with restriction of its expansion along the reduction gear axis. Interaction between medium-speed carrier (16) and low-speed sun gear (11) is performed with radial and side gaps, not less than the product of engagement modulus (m) by 0.4.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing efficiency and improving reliability of the method.
