FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method of operation is realised in design of an electric drive with a three-step planetary gear, which includes three serially installed planetary rows (6-8). Geared engagement of a sun gear (11) of a low-speed planetary row (8) with an inner geared rim of a carrier (16) of an interim planetary row (7) is carried out with side and radial gaps of not less than 0.4 of engagement module (t) and with the possibility of radial displacements of the specified carrier (16) together with satellites (13) and their self-installation, fixed on one end of the elastic axis. The other end of the axis is made in the body of the carrier (17) of the low-speed planetary row (8) on two ball bearings coupled with their ends (26, 27).
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency and to improve weight and dimension parameters of an electric drive.
