SUBSTANCE: invention can be used when designing fibre-optic gyroscopes and other physical quantity interferometric sensors based on single-mode fibre-optic guides. Each previous coil is inserted into the next. Higher accuracy of fibre-optic gyroscopes in conditions of varying ambient temperature is achieved by increasing the rate of temperature equalisation due to differences in geometric dimensions of each section in the coils in the axial and radial directions, as well as due to lack of adhesion of the compound to the protective-hardening coating of the light guide of the coil due to lack of change in the length of the light guide under external destabilising actions and selection of the content of the compound in the total volume of the coil.
EFFECT: reduced overall size of the sensitive coil.
