FIELD: fiber optics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fiber optics and can be used in the design of fiber-optic gyroscopes and other sensors of physical quantities based on single-mode fiber optics. The sensitive reel has a supporting frame containing an inner axial hole, two side walls and a middle wall located between them for winding a working fiber, consisting of a quartz thread with a light-guiding core and a protective-reinforcing coating, according to a "checkerboard" pattern, which consists in winding alternately with two technological reels in each of two sections formed by the middle wall and side walls of the supporting frame, two layers of the working fiber, with impregnation of the turns of the working fiber with a heat-conducting compound with a low Young's modulus and low adhesion to the protective-hardening coating of the working fiber. The supporting frame of the reel is made of a material with a high thermal diffusivity. One layer of the working fiber is wound in each of two sections of the reel winding. Each section has a geometric dimension which exceeds in the radial direction the geometric dimension in the axial direction at least twice. One of the ends of the working fiber of the reel has a fiber bend so that its direction coincides with the direction of winding of the second end of the working fiber of the reel, while the ends of the fibers for output from the reel are connected into a single bundle.

EFFECT: increased stability of the zero signal of the fiber-optic gyroscope under the influence of external destabilizing factors on the working fiber of the sensitive reel, such as changes in the ambient temperature, vibrations and acoustic noise.
