FIELD: fibre optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fibre optics and can be used in fibre-optic gyroscopes (FOG) of interferometric type. Essence of the claimed invention is as follows. Coil carcass represents two cylindrical plates interconnected by cylindrical bushing. Light guide is wound on a cylindrical surface formed by embedded parts installed from the outside on the sides into the sector-shaped slots of the flanges, and not in contact with the cylindrical bushing, and impregnated with a binding material. Embedded parts are removed from the structure after polymerisation of the light guide binding material.
EFFECT: reduced drift of FOG output signal caused by temperature change.
