FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: rapid method for pulse alternating current voltammetry involves determination of concentration of electrochemically reversible and irreversible substances based on the value of the current of the electrochemical reaction. The disclosed method involves recording the half-wave potential of the analysed substance, from which the potential range of the working electrode is selected, after which a solution with the determined substances is repeatedly exposed to pulses on linearly varying voltage of alternating current is superimposed, at a rate of 5-100 mV/s and amplitude of the alternating voltage of 2-50 mV.
EFFECT: shorter time, higher accuracy and sensitivity of determining concentration of analytes in solutions with a complex chemical composition in a wide range of concentration of elements and substances in the solution in automatic mode.
