FIELD: energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of thermionic conversion of thermal energy to electrical energy and can be used in designing multielement electrogenerating channels (EGC), built into active zone of thermionic reactor-converter (TRP) of spacecraft. Multielement EGC comprises multilayer metal-ceramic collector package, inner layer of which is divided by ceramic insulation into separate sections, forming collectors, and coaxially installed in it with radial clearance electric generating elements (EGE) in form of cylindrical emitter shells from monocrystalline alloy Mo+(3÷6) wt%. Nb. Inside shells there are cores from porous uranium dioxide. Cores of extreme EGE one on each side of EGC have porosity 3÷5 % at predominant pore size of 5÷10 mcm. Cores of intermediate EGE are made with predominant pore size of 20÷60 mcm, and porosity therein is selected by calculation formula.
EFFECT: technical result is high spatial stability during operation of EGC and its operational life.
