FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biological fluid analysers. A method for abnormal output signal detection involves output signal injection to a biological fluid sample, output signal generation by oxidation-reduction of an analysed substance in the sample, output signal measurement and conditioning by oxidation-reduction wherein the output signal is a response on the concentration of the analysed substance in the sample. It is followed by comparing the conditioned output signal with one control limit wherein it represents a normal to abnormal output signal transition and generates an error signal when the conditioned output signal is beyond the scope of the control limit. A biosensor for concentration test comprises a sensor strip carried by a sample interface wherein the sample interface adjoins a reservoir formed by the carrier and a measuring unit having a processor connected with the sensor interface through the signal generator.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables more precise abnormal output signal detection from the biosensor.
