FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: scope of application: for analysis of biological fluid. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that a biosensor system including a control system of insufficient filling determines concentration of an analyte in a specimen from at least one value of an analytical output signal. The insufficient filling control system includes an insufficient filling detection system and an insufficient filling compensation system. The insufficient filling detection system determines whether a monitor sensor is initially filled completely or incompletely, indicates when a specimen tank is not filled completely so that an additional specimen can be added to the monitor sensor, and starts or stops analysis of the specimen depending on the specimen volume. The insufficient filling detection system can also determine an initial degree of insufficient filling. After the insufficient filling detection system determines initial filling state of the monitor sensor, the insufficient filling compensation system corrects the analysis based on initial filling state of the monitor sensor.
EFFECT: minimising errors; reducing the need for exclusion of monitor sensors and repetition of analysis by a patient.
