FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to spectral image generation and can be used specifically in spectral computerised tomography (CT). Detector array of image detection includes emission-sensitive detector, which detects emission and generates signal corresponding to it. Current-frequency (I/F) converter converts the signal into a sequence of pulses with frequency corresponding to the signal during integrating period. The electric circuit generates the first instant and at least one instant of higher order based on the pulse sequence generated by current-frequency (I/F) converter.
EFFECT: increase of spectral resolution without usage of special-purpose engineering facilities and increased complexity of the spectral image generation system.
