FIELD: printing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a security element for security paper, security documents and similar objects. The security element has microoptical magnified structure of moire type for non-overlapping reproduction of the given moire pattern, encompassing one or several elements. The moire pattern includes a pictorial motif comprising a periodic or at least locally periodic arrangement of a certain number of cells of the lattice with the details of micromotif. The located at a distance from the pictorial motif raster of focusing elements for observing magnified pictorial motif that contains periodic or at least locally periodic arrangement of a certain number of cells of the lattice, each of which comprises the microfocusing element. Details of the micromotif of several spaced cells of the lattice of the pictorial motif together in each case form an element of the micromotif corresponding to one of the elements of the magnified moire pattern, and the length of the element of the micromotif is greater than the cell of the lattice of the pictorial motif.
EFFECT: proposed protective element has high protection against reproduction and copying.
