SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of counterfeit protection of security papers and is a protective element (20) for paper with protective properties, security papers and similar valuable documents, which has a microoptical magnifier with moire effect, including a pattern, which consists of periodically or at least locally periodically distributed combination of micropattern elements (28), applied onto a flat or uneven surface, and periodically or at least locally periodically distributed combination of microfocusing elements (24), applied onto a flat or uneven surface, which makes it possible to observe moire effect with magnification when viewing elements (28) of the micropattern, besides, the combination of the micropattern elements (28) and/or the combination of microfocusing elements (24) when arranged on a flat surface does not have a symmetry axis in its plane on periodical or at least locally periodical sections.

EFFECT: provision of high extent of security papers counterfeit protection.
