FIELD: printing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a security element for security papers, security documents and similar objects. The security element contains microoptical moire magnified structure for reproduction of a three-dimensional moire pattern with the structure extending into the depth of the space. The moire pattern has reproducible parts in at least two planes, which are separated from each other in a direction perpendicular to the magnifying structure. The pictorial motif includes two or more periodic or at least locally periodic arrangements of elementary units with different lattice periods and/or different lattice orientations, which are in each case compared with one plane of the moire pattern and contain details of the micromotif for reproduction the image detail in the corresponding plane of the moire pattern. Raster of focusing elements is located at some distance from the pictorial motif for observing the magnified pictorial motif that contains periodic or at least locally periodic arrangement of a certain number of cells of the lattice, each of which comprises the microfocusing element. The magnified three-dimensional moire pattern when tilting the security element in almost all directions of tilting moves in a direction different from the direction of the tilting.
EFFECT: proposed invention provides increased protection against forgery.
